Biblical Evolution and the Return of Natural Theology
This last book of Michael A. Corey's
natural theology trilogy, The Natural
History of Creation, makes the bold assertion
that the creation account in Genesis One is fundamentally
identical to the modern evolutionary account, except for
one important difference: the Biblical text credits God
Himself for the origin of life, whereas the scientific theory
of evolution does not.
Using an easy-to-read style of writing
that should be readily accessible to the lay reader, Corey
concludes that modern science and ancient Biblical teaching
are actually saying the very same thing in different words.
